Wow, how bad is that, I have not updated this blog since before Christmas! My excuse? Cake!
Honestly, my lovely customes love to keep me busy. Luckily, the range of cakes I'm asked for is so wide and varied that I could never get bored of cake and I still get such a buzz from handing over a cake and seeing the reactions they are met with. All of my galleries are up to date, so I won't post a load of photos here, I will try and keep more up to date with it now though. Promise!
I will show some photos of a wedding cake I did this weekend, even if I do say so myself, it's beautiful. I set it up at Ashton Court Manison where Andrew and Aimee were holding their reception. The cake was a 12" fruit, 10" lemon,8" vanilla and a 6" carrot. They also ordered a mini cake that was gluten free for Aimee's mum so she could enjoy a slice of cake too.The couple had chosen these flavours after tasting samples at our wedding consultation back in September. All wedding cakes that are booked with me include a consultation where we meet, discuss design ideas, colours and of course eat cake! If you are getting married, feel free to get in touch for an initial chat if you think you'd like me to make your cake.
